My Supercharger isnt sealing with the brand new gaskets.
Its leaking from the injectors, OEM manifold to charger plate and charger plate to charger.

I need to make my own custom gaskets with thicker material and it needs to compress into imperfections.

PTFE sheets at 3mm thick see good but where can i buy them from in the shops. I want them by saturday and i doubt any online retailer will deliver by then.

Injector gaskets are going to have to be reused OEM ones. The Mr injector gaskets are too thick and dont seat correctly.

Have you got an rs components sales counter near you? They're never open particularly helpful hours, but rs do various different types of gasket material.

Or try a commercial vehicle motor factors near you (have you got an intatruck near you?) or search for something like 'industrial seal supplier <wherever you are> in Google?

Maybe just use the instant gasket stuff ontop of the gaskets you already have, I only copy'd what was there origionally but I'm sure there was some silicon instant gasket sealant in places aswell.

I have thicker stuff but possibly to hard for this kit?

I can tell you that graphite gasket material is sexual to work with though, lovely and soft and will take up any surface imperfections expensive mind and not reusable, but I wasn't paying last time I used that stuff when they started to want to save money, they moved over the ptfe like you suggested. Re-usable but doesn't take up quite as many imperfections.

I used instant gasket also Pete. I used a new OEM intake manifold to charger plate gasket.
On the charger plate to charger i used the gasket with instant gasket all over it.
The S-tube and throttle body and by pass valve are all fine.

That link doesn't work for me, but as said graphite gasket is good but I'm still not sure it'll seal.

There really arnt any imperfections in the faces from what I remember, is there any chance a bolt it bottoming out just as your tightening it? The instant gasket should have worked, one way to use it is not to tighten it up straight way, let it go firm and then try maybe?

The other gaskets I may still haven't turned up it's really odd, but I do have the templates in work so I'll see what else I can make them out of. I do have a kind of ptfe sheet but it's quite soft, I haven't had a use for it yet.

Im looking at the Klingersil C4400. Its 3mm thick. About £70 for a 750mm x 500mm.

The charger plate to charger gasket didnt fit right so i cut it....quite crudely. Only one side has instant gasket on it though.
All the bolts are the correct size so its should be doing that.
Luckily i can remove the charger in 1hour. Its pretty eay to get off and on once you have put it on yourself. So it will only take me the best part of a day to sort.

Well what another arse this has been.

Went to RS and they refused to serve me. You can only buy from them if your a registered trader and they wouldnt sell me anything.

@nucleustylzlude What bolt are you using for the front charger bolts near the injectors.
I can only assume it wont seal because the front bolts arnt being tightened propperly. There are 3 at the front and the rightmost one is fine. But the middle and left bolts wont tighten all the way with a 12mm wrench and a socket is too tall against the charger. I cannot find a 12mm hinged socket anywhere. They are all hinge adapters.
I could try an allen key hex bolt.

Annoying now as i have to wait for gasket material etc so this weekend is out and i dont have time in the week. Dragging this charger out for 5 weeks now.
