If you dont have a rollcage don't run full slick tyres, it is against most circuits rules ;) Even if your local circuit allows the use of slicks without a cage, it is not a great idea anyway. I have put off using my Ex-Clio Cup 17" full slicks for this reason.

I have a set of 4 that are semi-slick ..but they are that way due to over use and bad wheel alignment.

i got 4 15's ITR alloys but only got 2 r888s on them.. with about 2mm of tread?

IF R888's and Ad08's (the two most common semi track day tyres) are a bit on the pricey side for you, you could try the MaxSport RB5's. I have these, they are cheap and grip well but they are dry weather only and lack the grooves to deal with water.

All three of these tyres are MSA 1B rated for dry weather performace. http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/msa_ ... 28L%29.pdf That PDF (part of the MSA Bluebook) is good because it lets you know what is classed as an all weather tyre (1A) and summer performance tyres (1B) ;).

marangoni do some that are dirt cheap and are meant to be really good. The chosen tyre for caterham 7's apparently.
