I'm looking for a sunlight sensor with connector and some wire. I'm not sure if the 5th gen one is the same.

Where is it usually located? I will check both of my cars for you, if there's one there you can have it as I'm sure I have never ever used it!

It's not for your usage. Climate control system needs it as well as few other sensors. If you don't have cc then you don't have sunlight sensor ;)
