While doing the 2WS conversion and polybushing my 4G, I've come up against some snags -
1 - Getting front left LCA off was a pain and I damaged the bolt on the ball joint, and can't get castle nut back on.
2 - Castle nuts on the rear upper control arm ball joints are both rusted as "£$%"£$, so there is no way I am getting them off, hence no way to separate the upper control arms and knuckles for bushing
It looks like it will be easiest to just get some replacement parts.
All these bits are for a 4G WITH ABS.
1 - Left Front knuckle (with decent quality ball joint and ball joint boot). Part number (as far as I can tell) 51215-SS0-901
2a - Left AND Right REAR knuckles (with decent quality ball joints and ball joint boots). Part numbers (as far as I can tell) 52116-SS0-010 (left) and 52111-SS0-010 (right)
2b - Left AND Right REAR upper control arms (with decent quality ball joints and ball joint boots). Part numbers (as far as I can tell) 52400-SS0-003 (left) and 52390-SS0-003 (right)
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.
