Wanted UKDM 5th gen Front Fog Switch

Post by mcj78 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 9:39 am

As in title chaps - any help would be greatly appreciated, not sure if i'll be able to rig one of these to work with my aftermarket harness so i'd rather not pay stealer's prices for one!

Cheers,
J

I've no idea if the harness plug is the same; you may need to splice.

I replaced the cruise master switch (what a redundant object!) with the JDM fog light switch.

The cruise master is velcroed to the back of the fascia and may be operated from below the dash, if I ever discover a reason to actuate it.

Hi - yeah i'd seen that done too, looks pretty tidy in fact - so that's always another option.

Incidentally, I emailed one of the repro fog sellers on ebay to ask whether the kits could be used with an existing oem switch & they said they should be compatible... :?

Guess i'll end up just buying one to find out it's useless!
