when i hear that sort of cost im just glad i have a 4th Gen BB4 with no cat required

I have been looking about and I cant see anywhere that even recognises that the 99+ has a larger CAT, they all list them as 97-00

Unless someone here has one the best option might be to get someone like Stainless Creations to install a 3rd party universal CAT?

Next time I have my 5th gen up on the ramps I will double confirm it as I am missing my CAT shield.

yes A8 cat is longer
it was mentioned that one of the cats from an accord (might be ATR) fits lengthwise but one of the flanges is at a different angle so it close but no cigar

It wont fit. The H22a8 only came in the UK 99+. See the link above for CAT sizes

I've read of people fitting massive Audi cats in their 'Ludes.. apparently they are so big they'll even get you through emissions with failed O2 sensors..
