The ATR is a good car.
Performance and economy are similar to 4G and 5G Ludes and looking after one is equivalent as well.
The pre-facelift 5th gear issue also affects reverse, but the cars that experience the problem are generally the ones that haven't been driven well (eg: slammed from third to fifth or still using the gearbox oil the car came with).
I love the ATR's machine-like feel although not everybody does. The Recaros are excellent and the LSD helps the car corner quicker than a 4WS Lude.
Ours has done 18k miles in the last 12 months and has never let us down.

I do like the ATR very understated much like the prelude, and it does give me an excuse to get a quad bike that i have been wanting for years
