4th Gen VTEC wanted!

Hi all,

I am after a Jap import facelift 4th gen VTEC with cruise and climate control, and not too rusty!

(EDIT) Auto gearbox too...

If anyone knows of anything please let me know

Budget is under a grand for sure :p

What's your budget? That will help people find you something suitable.

And you might want to add in your post that it's an 'Automatic' your after too.

why an auto and why a post-face lift?

i maybe able to help you if your willing to consider a pre face lift with post facelift door handles and speaker covers

Cheers crunchy...I had seen that one and although it looks in great condition its the UK version right?

Phil - I prefer the facelift bumpers and definitely the interior etc, centre console n what not.

I may struggle being so picky haha!

Oh and autos...dont know I just like them, probably the lazy side of me coming out

That's a UK car, and not a VTEC.

the bumpers are the same buddy the lights are different and the only real difference to the centre is the sex blocker is replaced by a cubby box between the front seats and the handbrake moves to the side all changeable you should look for a lude with a decent body and the gearbox you want the rest can be changed easily

Oh I'd not thought of that - is it easy enough to take out the offending sex blocker without it looking bodged?

Although, am I right in thinking the facelift models come with a better looking speedo too? That would also need changing if so. I shall reconsider all 4th gens though, thanks

you can get a filler between the 2 seats that replaces the sex blocker, in can in the post face lifts and rare non sex blocker pre's .

swapping over the center console is fairly common, @lucas did it most recently IIRC.

Thanks for the tag phil.

The facelift conversion is very easy, with the right tools.
However, you can also get a pre-facelift without the sexblocker, it is quite hard to come by but if you can even find one for breaking itnwould be much easier to swap over the center console and the rear seat section rather than re-locating the handbreak

And yes, the facelift also comes with el dials, which are definitely much nicer looking
