Is there a difference? I thought the half-mast bit was controlled by the half-mast switch..
I'm probably wrong though haha

Yes you are I'm affraid. Half link aerial has also built in (visible) control box and there is differens slider with pins (not visible). I think it's also a bit longer when fully extended.
At least you're right about the switch

Haha well in that case I do have a half mast aerial on my parts car ..although it probably doesn't work. The switch is gone (I used it for something else) but the control box must still be in there.

I have no idea I'm afraid, it's never been extended in the whole time I've had the car (since August 2011)
