Right, I'm looking for a new daily and thought, why not to link daily with hobby car, so one of the option is 5th gen.
I will be looking for an Import first, standard SiR ' s or if I would be lucky Type S, than UKDM.
I do.not mind to pay but car need to be worth.
Maybe somebody is thinking of selling his lude, or long term forum users decide move to something diferent - drop.me PM.
Prefer to buy car here with confirmed history rather than ebay/auto trader.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

I have a very mechanically sound BMW 328i sport going for sale in the next two or three weeks? Its the most direct replacement for the lude you are likely to find. It also goes like stink and will pass its next 4 or 5 mots without any issues due to the amount of refreshment work thats gone on.
I am selling it and our horsebox before we move. Thats why the lude is later on. I would be keeping both vehicles as I have put so much damn money and time into them but we wont have the space so we need to sell them off and combine into a 4x4. It will even come with its next oil change, filter and top ups. Also a decat exhaust as well as the oem and a set of winter/drift wheels with rubber to burn. I scratched the rear a bit at the nurburg ring but that got sorted out. I have just bought the couple of niggly bits (kidney grill and rear light) that needed replacing to get it nice for sale. its got almost all poly bushes, uprated FSD shocks, new clutch, EBC yellow stuff pads and discs, rebuilt LSD, adjustable rear arms etc etc etc I also put in a full leather interior. Come have a look if you want cheap and very well looked after RWD.

I have driven it for two years now. Way longer than I ever did the ludes all combined, and I have loved every minute. Also if you want to play about with the engine these M52 will give up 25% safe power with only a grand spent......BMW had to reign them in to pass german tax laws so they are just gaggig to go up to 245bhp with little spent.
This one was dyno'd at the national meet at 212bhp/212ft/lb with that intake and a straight through exhaust. Its now got the decat system from that exhaust but an oem back box welded to it as it was just a bit too loud.
Come and have a drive in it just to see what a good one feels like because if you want lude related performance in rwd then the e36 is it, for the money. With the extra 600cc and vanos its like a grown up version of the h22. It roars like a lion also
We have 'Zhorst offs at the nurburgring meet and no one could even step to the might of the straight six snap crackle and pop. Even my mate with his scooby with the 3'' and blow off vale etc said It rinced his
If you can get past the 90's styling its the best car next to the lude I have owned

Re: Looking for 5th gen for my self
Still looking for one, so if anybody thinking of selling their Lude-buddy PM me. Also thinking about ATR/Euro R Accord as well.
