Guys as above I need a Passenger side engine mount from 92-96 2.2 H22 prelude. For whatever reason the one I got with the engine doesn't appear to be correct as it does not fit please see my build thread for more info.
The mount from looking on line has 1 single hole on the cap not 3 like the one I have here.
Thanks guys I need this to be posted to leeds area.
Cheers

whats the problem with fitment?
as far as i know the mounts should all be the same
I have seen them with three holes on top and i think it prefacelift
the spare i have has one hole on top as does the one on my facelfit BB4 but it has been polyfilled - i also have polyfilled rear and driver side mounts
let me know if you want any pics or want to check out dimensions of what i have here versus the one you have

thanks buddy, yes this is a strange one my friend who has done this conversion a few times has never seen or had this issue before either. as you can see on the last page of my build thread here -
http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/non-lud ... 33-70.html
you can see the mount and bracket are off and they shouldn't be??? we use b-series mount on the gearbox and rear so we know the shafts line up OK etc and we use a b-series gearbox. the engine being a H22 should use the H22 92-96 engine mount and fit spot on as he has had in the past but this one does not?
as for measurements i suppose we would need to measure the distance between the engine mount holes and the vehicle mounts point and see if there is a difference?
i will need to go get this measurement tonight. not sure if my pics on the thread above highlight to you guys that are in the know if this bracket is incorrect?
cheers all

I have one that I don't mind letting go. If Vanzep doesn't sort you out come back to me
Also are the other engine mounts in tight? It might just be that you need to get all of them on loose and then tighten them all up?

thanks Merlin that would be great. yes we have loosened the others off and we can force it to fit but i really mean force it

the reason i think its the wrong mount is all the 92-96 ones have a difference part code or a code that only pertains to that chassis?? i could be wrong but the fact it should fit and does not lead to this thread and option to double check with one that is definitely from a 92-96 2.2....
we shall see......
i will PM you if i dont hear from Vanzep.

im sure your mount is the 3 hole one
surely there cant be any difference between these mounts
anyway here are pics of the one hole mount as found in facelift BB4's

distance hole centre to centre is approx 65.5mm on side shown above facing toward front of engine bay

note casting number 4H2

rubber ears that go on either side

yep check the measurement and see what you get
im in no hurry to sell the mount as its part of a set of pollyfilled ones and theyve had a refurb...but then again am i really ever going to need them
if
@Merlin has the other type of mount then we should be able to check for any differences between the two side by side...

Replied to your PM.
This is my one. This is either from a UK 4th gen or a pre-facelift JDM

this is the one we have with the 3 holes, as above shown in Vanzep pictures we used the single hole one before. i like you cannot see any reason why they would be different but i will check the measurements today on the one we have.
