Hi All,
After an Oil Sump for a UKDM 98 2.2VTi. Mechanic has found cracks on the sump in my car, probably the cause of oil leak I noticed
Anyone selling an Oil Sump - or know where I can get one (tried a number of scrap yards all week).
Thanks!

PerformanceAutoworks wrote:H22a (JDM 4th Gen) and H22a2 are tin sump - You will also require the windage tray rom the a or a2 if youwant to retrofit to a a5 or a8. These sumps use a gasket.
H22a5 and H22a8 are alloy sump (as are JDM 5th gen H22a)- these are a little deeper than the early tin sumps but are much heavier and harder to baffle. These sumps also use a "load bridge" that bolts to the sump and gearbox
H22a7 is tin sump - the deepest of the lot. You will need the windage tray from this engine (or the a2) to retro fit to an a5 or a8. You also need the oil pickup from the A7 due to the increased depth. The A7 engine also uses a "load bridge" at the bottom of the block that bolts to the gearbox but this does NOT attach to the sump. This is the best OE sump for H22s thanks to it's shape and depth...especialy f you wish to baffle it.
Word of caution - some (not all by any means) headers/downipes will foul on the a7 sump so some clearancing is required.
