Greetings everyone

I guess this is my holy grail personnal quest.
But I'm trying to make my 5G prelude a type S, I've already found the AAC, soo now, I'm trying to find something impossible.
The complete exhaust line from a Type S, ie 57mm internal tube. From the catalyser to the catback/silencer, so so.

I know this is a mad quest, but worth trying anyway.

If you want it to be the same spec as the "S" you'll need to get it from engine back (manifold, CAT, CATback) for two reasons. 1) the "S" has a different exhaust manifold to all other Ludes, its cylindrical instead of oval 2) the downpipe is alot longer on the "S" to get the CAT past the ATTS unit, the mid section is shorter to compensate.

If you tried to line up a Type-S exhaust to even another JDM Lude you would see that the CAT back would be short.

In short just buy a good aftermarket exhaust manifold and 2.25" catback and you will have an equivalent spec ;)

Hi friends

There's a good reason I want the 57mm internal, it's for keeping the noise lvl down. Here in Reunion island, jap cars are becoming police's target of choice, and I want to avoid that by looking as OEM as possible. Reason why.
But if I need the manifold, the cat and catback, I know it's hard, but I prefer buying such things that aftermarkets parts, even if it'll give me less power. But I'm aiming at 185 to 220hp jump, so after I'll drop the S AAC, Pistons, the ATR intake manifold with Type S intake and 66mm throtle body, neptune , I don't think I need aftermarkets part to reach those 220hp.
Cebul, I'll contact you in mp.
Same for you A1ex:)

Your making your 5th Gen a Type S. Sunroof less? ATTS, Engine, ECU ATTS ECU, 2ws. Active ABS, dials and interior and zorst.

Cebul is your man, hes got one in great condition. I will have the S manifold in a couple of months available.

but Merlin, really thanks for pointing all that to me, as you may have guessed, it's a quest, and I lack knowledge about all that. So far no one here in my place can build 57mm internal pipe and exhaust, that's why I went searching for an OEM exhaust line, but I wasn't aware of all those limitation, trully:/

Ratty, I'm trying to, yes, since importing a type S lude here is way too costly.
I've found the complete auto AC parts already. But I don't want the ATTS, provide I have the choice, I would prefer the LSD of the SIR S spec.
and no, ECU wise, since here we are running on SP89, I'll get a ODBI ECU tuned to get the right setup, it's the only choice I have.
My car is a euro SH type.
And yes, I'm trying to find the carbon cluster too (found it, but 450$ was a bit too much).

don't tell it, but I know I'm taking a stupid way, but as I said, I need to plan carefully here...

ATTS is what makes the type S the type S imho. like a donut with no jam. boring.

question, why do you need an auto AC unit?

i have never heard of a 'euro SH', tell me more? the USDM SH is a stock BB6 with ATTS. that was the only SH i was aware of. can you tell me where or how this is shown on the car? i really thought only the US and Japan got ATTS but if your car is an SH why does it not have ATTS already? the SH stands for super handling = ATTS.

Some euros got the VTI-S which was the 184bhp engine with ATTS. Austrailia also had the VTI-S with ATTS.
