Full exhaust

Post by alinton » Tue Sep 01, 2015 10:33 am

My car needs a new exhaust, apparently it would be feasible to strain cabbage through the current one.

So I need it all, excluding manifold. I don't really want an overly noisy one, nor do I want a massive output pipe. I want it to look relatively stock, but of course perform well.

One without a cat would be fine.

Any around?

Ta

As little as possible while still getting a good product, as it's not something I was budgeting for.

Probably best trying to wait to find a second hand one. I got a custom one made looks standard from the tips and isn't mega loud but it cost a few quid.

I would wait and see what comes up. You can get some quality aftermarket stuff for relative pennies.

How about a centre made from someone like Longlife and a rear box from skunk2 or something alike?

Damon that's a good price for a custom job.

Is poem to one supplier here who offered me a Skunk, but they're very noisy. I'm not into engineering an exhaust to sound loud, I'd actually rather it was quiet, but still free flowing and therefore performs well.

And I hate the look of a 5-inch output pipe! I'm not a boy racer, I don't want a drainpipe sticking out the back.
