both exhaust o2/lambda sensors for h22

this is for a 2.2vtec 4g import if it makes any difference, both of Will's perished as soon as they were removed.

pretty sure one plugs into the cat (now a decat) and one into the downpipe.

The cat one is only a temperature sensor, just ground the wire going to it to the chassis. For the O2 sensor, check ebay, quite a few genuine NGK replacements on there.

ah ha, a temp sensor and an o2 sensor - that clears up that mystery cheers :)
yeh ive seen the NGK ones on egay but he's on a mega tight arsed budget, but he may have to buy new if anyone doesnt have anything

@indigolemon are the 4g & 5g compatible with each other for these parts?

For the O2 sensor the plug changed male to female or vice versa between OBD1 and OBD2 - so you'll need the right one, or have to get handy with a soldering iron.

Yeah, that's about right. I had to use a lot of heat last time I removed one of these!

that The cat’ temperature sensor had to be grounded to trick the dash warning light. - did you do this just by cutting the temp sensor off and adding an end to be able to be bolted to the exhaust shield underneath?
