All of the above are Japenese preludes, and will be bb6's, and therefore they will be 2WS. They will also have digital climate control, no cruise control, and no sunroof The S-spec and Type S preludes have the most powerful 220HP engines. The S-spec will have an LSD gearbox, where as the type S prelude has ATTS.
If you are lucky, you will get a lot of Jdm optional extras on these models to.

Moved to wanted section.
One word of note - you might come across the semi-auto boxes on SiR's. If you're interested in them, check them over very, very carefully. They're a bit sensitive. If well maintained, the boxes seem to last ok, but if not, they have a reputation for dying early. However, even then, it's nothing that a relatively easy manual conversion can't fix...

The sir will be either 2ws or a 4ws so bb6 or bb8 and will have the potential to have all of the optional extras.

Thanks for the help and info guys,
Did they all come with no sun roofs? As I'm sure I've seen some with them ?
It's deffo a manual he is wanting but if a good condition auto came up at the correct price then I'm sure a manual swap could be arranged lol
The other thing I was going to ask is what engine code are these with them being the high compression variant and should they have SIR or otherwise stamped on the vin plate ?
Thanks again for the help
Dan

"Type SiR" should be stamped on the chassis plate of SiR's
Think it's "Type SiR Type S" on Type S's.
There was some debate recently about what should be on the plate of S-Spec's... Can't recall what the outcome was.

The engine code on all the JDM 2.2 vtecs is H22a.
Pretty sure all bb6's came without a sunroof

they are known as lightweight models, so no sunroof, cruise control or 4WS.
Gearbox codes are a good way to determine the model also (as long as the car is still original having had no gearbox changes). The SiR models came with the M2S4 (non LSD) box, and M2T4 (LSD) box. Type S has the M2U4 (ATTS) box, and the S-spec had the M2Z4 (LSD) box.

All bb6 means is 2ws only. Sunroof, cruise, lsd, etc were all optional.
All USA preludes were bb6 and they had sunroofs.
