BB4 FICV HOSE NEEDED

Needing the hose that goes from the fast idle control valve to the thermostat housing unit :D

Any hose should do in the meantime until you get the right one from Honda. These type of parts are normally only a couple of quid.
I will ask @newkid if he can grab one of the 5th gen vtec auto - should be the similar if not the same :?

good news if that fixes your rev/idle issue :)
newkid is going to grab the fitv hoses off the 5th gen and we will see how they compare to the ones on my BB4 ;)

it would be great news! :) once that's done then the driveshaft and I will be very happy with it.I still think its worth trying the new dials too.

I had to replace this hose on my BB4 about 6 months ago as had same problem as you - it had a tiny pin hole in it which only showed up under pressure ;) I also had to replace both the short hoses that go the oil cooler - again leaks only showed under pressure :twisted:

that looks like the right one I need.I could only find the problem once it was fully warmed up and I started bending all the hoses
