Needing the hose that goes from the fast idle control valve to the thermostat housing unit

Any hose should do in the meantime until you get the right one from Honda. These type of parts are normally only a couple of quid.
I will ask @newkid if he can grab one of the 5th gen vtec auto - should be the similar if not the same

good news if that fixes your rev/idle issue
newkid is going to grab the fitv hoses off the 5th gen and we will see how they compare to the ones on my BB4

it would be great news! once that's done then the driveshaft and I will be very happy with it.I still think its worth trying the new dials too.

Here is a pic of the hose that goes from the fitv to thermostat housing

I had to replace this hose on my BB4 about 6 months ago as had same problem as you - it had a tiny pin hole in it which only showed up under pressure I also had to replace both the short hoses that go the oil cooler - again leaks only showed under pressure

that looks like the right one I need.I could only find the problem once it was fully warmed up and I started bending all the hoses
