I'm after an airbag ring for a 4th gen (the round bit that goes behind the steering wheel with the wires coming out of it to connect to the steering wheel, in case I'm using the wrong name for it)

2.3 1994 car with cruise control and 4ws

Needed ASAP, can collect if within a couple of hours of Gloucestershire, otherwise I can do PayPal if you can post.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Same as a 5th gen do you know? I've recently removed one from my 5th gen - can take a picture if you like...

I believe the term is rotary coupler - probably quite similar to other models (accord, perhaps even rover 600).

I don't think it is the same as a 5th gen, from what I've seen anyway.

I dont think it's the the one pictured above either, sorry. I'll do a bit more research and try and work it out. I haven't got the original as the car came with a Nardi steering wheel.

I've been here - it gets complicated quickly - @vanzep - that looks like it's from a non-airbag with cruise (three rings are horn, up, down). You then have the pre-facelift with airbag coupler, then the post-facelift with airbag coupler.

By the sounds of it, you want a pre-facelift with airbag rotary coupler. I did have one of these a loooong time ago, if I can find it, it's yours.

That does look very familiar - clock spring is the term for sure! I hit against this when I wanted to fit a leather 4G wheel from a facelift into my pre-facelift car. NB - I eventually gave up, ripped all that out, and fitted a DC2 wheel!

However that does mean I should have a pre-facelift clock spring in a box somewhere! I'll be at my storage on Thursday if you can hang off till then? As I said, if I still have it, it's yours for postage :)
