Are 5g radiator's compatible with 4g's?
Are auto rads different to manuals?

5th gen rads have different mounting points to 4th gens. The hose connections are in a slightly different position as well.
And I believe you can run an auto's rad on a manual if you block the transmission cooler ports, but this obviously doesn't work vice versa, for the manual rad lacking the transmission cooler ports.
To be fair though, is £40 not cheap enough?

good info, thank you for that Nath
Yeh £40 isn't bad but I'll need to sort a few things on the car so I was just trying to budget the best I can. I'll fork out for the new one if required don't get me wrong, just checking what was it there first
