Hey guys. I really want to build a G23 VTEC Engine as iam not satisfied with my H22R and its a cheap way to get more power.
So iam wondering as the Accord is a commonvehicle in UK and cars getting partet and scraped, there should be a high offer from the F23 (SOHC VTEC 154hp) and not much demand. Where would be the best place to ask? Maybe someone here parting these cars? It should be ridiculess cheap and its really not urgent, but would be a nice project for summer. I actually only need anything below the cylinderhead.. even bad condition cylinder dont matter. But crank should be fine.
What are these engines going for in UK?

Damned. More rare then the Type R in UK??
Because ATR are 100 left in germany. 2.3s Probably more.
H23 is not an option as it is FRM (better but to expensive) and 50mm crank bearnings only. Also the F23 is more stroke and the cranktrain(?) is similiar to the K (probably lighter) wich i guess make it the better engine overall.
My plan was max 200$ Engine, free overbore to 86mm, 500$ new K24 pistion 12,6:1. And 100$ gaskets/oil. Would be 150 more displacement, 1,5 more compression ratio and a lighter components and also better condition to my current H22.
