4th Gen Offside Rear ABS Sensor

Post by indigolemon » Wed Apr 04, 2018 9:27 am

As title, despite not owning one anymore I find myself helping a few other people keep preludes alive and I've exhausted the spares 4thgenphil kindly gave me all those years ago.

Anyone got a working sensor kicking about? Cheers!

Hi Graham,
I did have a set of rear abs sensors but cant remember if i gave both of them to you or just one side (about 2 yrs ago) - if it was just one side then i must have the other one somewhere....maybe you can recall :)

is the sensor the same as a 5th gen front? (i'm thinking electrically the sensor is probably identical, just the bracketing / loom might be a little different). Can take a picture of the 5g fronts if you get desperate.

It was a set of front's I took off you Nick :) They solved the problem then, and now one of the rears has packed up!

Appreciate the offer, but I honestly can't remember what the difference is. Have a vague memory the plugs are different, and I think even cable length varies front to rear annoyingly. Might have to make with the splicing as a last resort!
