I am interested in making that conversion on my car at some point in the future. Is it quite hard to do? I assume there is sensors involved and it is a dashboard out job?

yes its a big job, i have been holding off for a while but my A/C stopped working last summer, perfect time to do this project. There are multiple DIY's and guides, with parts needed.
