Air con control unit and directional fans

Hi my air con unit and fans from the centre console have given up the ghost. Is anyone breaking a 4th gen so I can fix my car?

The buttons part looks almost identical to a 5th gen part? I have a 5th gen blower if that fits also

Buttons look a little flatter than the 4th, on the 4th they look inwards a bit. What's wrong with the one you have?

Actually, I think the surround on the 4th gen is misleading me, the part behind looks flat, so I think they are the same. You won't know if there any detail differences until you removed yours though, which I seem to remember is a bit fiddly...

What's actually 'given up the ghost' on yours c_doughty?
Is it just adjustable speed control of the fan?
