I'm look for a good condition rubber boot seal if anyone is breaking a 4th gen. I have asked on the facebook page recently but also thought I'd hit up the forum just incase.

Fairly sure ive got a spare boot seal for 4th gen. It will be a used 2nd hand part. Let me know if you cant get one new and i will check

however it has a tear at the drivers side outer corner - i did have this seal on my BB4 and just had a bit of black tape over the tear and there were no leaks into the boot. sure you could do a better repair - if not then see what wurlycorner has
id be looking for £20 posted - expect to pay a bit more for one with no tear

Cheers vanzep I'll keep it in mind, could ideally do with a cleaner one without a tear. It's worth seeing if wurly can find his. Thanks

You should be able to glue that tear back together without a problem though, FWIW (use the vulcanising glue in a bike puncture repair kit).

funny you should mention that Wurly - ive already repaired the tear - no material was missing so it glued back together just fine

I might just take a chance with yours if this is the case the case. Still much better condition than my current seal. I get paid on Thursday the 31st, message me your PayPal and I'll send the funds over then.
