4th gen cigarette lighter

I am after a cigarette lighter out of a 4th gen if anyone is breaking one? Mine is worn and loose

got two units here - its the plastic cover and lighter assembly - only issue i can see is that the two small bulbs have been removed. can put up some photos of the parts if you need

like youve done - if you just use a flatblade screwdriver to push the two bottom tabs/prongs out a bit then that should solve the problem

I think that over time these tabs get flattened in to the sides so dont grip the actual lighter.
Im not sure if you can do this in situ - maybe best to disconnect the battery first if you plan on doing this when the unit is fitted to the dash.....
