Hi,

It seems there is something wrong with the mounts on my BB1. Engine has shifted a bit - evidence is a split in the driver side engine mount (gearbox side) and the front mount is way off center...

These things are stupidly expensive new...

So looking for someone with a good set I can buy when I get the investigations complete. It could be the rear mount has gone - hence movement elsewhere....

I suppose a set of polymounts for a daily driver are not tolerable due to vibrations....

Why is it so easy to source parts in america? There is a total kit here for $222 or £143 delivered. But.....import duty could be ££ anything...then £30 vat and £7 COD...

Might have to do it if I need more than 1 mount....

I should have a full set of engine mounts in the next week or so if your in no mad rush- theyve been uprated by adding some sikaflex. I will post up a few pics if u like. The front mount comes complete with the bracket and the mount is central to the bracket if that makes sense...

Those look nice....Does the sikaflex add any vibrations...or just make them last longer?
