Lude Generation

Hi all,

Hopefully you won't all shoot me down for being on the lookout for an unmolested vehicle

Ideally I'm looking for a manual 5th gen, 2.2 VTi with 4ws, and have been struggling to find a nice clean example locally. Would also consider equivalent older gens.

I'm based in Edinburgh but willing to travel pretty much anywhere for the right car, so please let me know if you have something that fits.

Preludes are thin on the ground at the moment, very few decent ones so you have to be eagle eyed and look every day As Nit's said, if your looking for a UK car with 4WS the 99+ H22a8 is the one to get.

I seem to be developing a mild obsession with the lude hunt, have to check ebay/parkers/pistonheads/gumtree/etc at least once an hour or I get twitchy.

Just been on Pistonheads to check if there were any good looking prelude's for sale and...

.. what the hell, there are like dinosaurs. All good one extinct. Lucky we kept our ones.

Nope, this would be my first one.

I have a spectacularly dull car history (ending with my old Primera which ran itself into the ground last year at 196k). Haven't bothered replacing it until now as I was working away a lot of the time, but always wanted a prelude and they're now finally cheap enough that I can afford one

Test drove one yesterday and really enjoyed it, but the setup seemed pretty dodgy so had to walk away.
