Hey guys,

Maybe someone can help me find the correct part number for a flywheel. I have searched Honda Europe parts and come up with 22100-P13-005.
My Reg is R767GMR, Vin# JHMBB81500C003609.

From what I can see there are only a few right hand drive models with 4WS and vtec so hopefully I have the right part :) (to confirm the car is 5th gen 1997 2.2 VTI, V5 says engine number is H22A2-1004360 (I can only find H22A5 btw).

Any help/steer in the right direction appreciated.

Cheers
Baz.

Seems strange that it has an h22a2 block.

Verify this is correct, the engine number is clearly visible stamped on the front of the block near the big black rubber plug/bung that protects the flywheel timing inspection light window.

It should be an h22a5 if UK 5th gen VTi. H22a2 is a block from a 4th gen lude if wikipedia is accurate. Not unusual it that it may have been swapped, but quite unusual for it to have been corrected on the V5 in my experience.

Looking at the parts catalogue on amayama.com , it appears that a 4th gen 2.2 manual and 5th gen 2.2 manual have differing part numbers for flywheels. 22100-PT1-000 seems to be the part you'd expect in a 4th gen, which differs to the part you listed which seems correct for a 5th gen with h22a5.

Those with more direct knowledge will post soon.

Must be a misprint on the V5 as the number on the block is indeed H22A5.

4th and 5th gen vtec should be the same flywheel. Vtec Gearboxes are interchangeable so are the flywheels and clutch as far as i know.
P13 is stamped on all the oem flywheels i have seen.
I think the part numbers have been superceded and that has caused a bit of confusion.
Have a look at this:

Dont forget to make sure you get the flywheel spigot bearing as well ;)
(this is the small brass coloured bearing that goes in the centre of the flywheel)
