Sunroof & surrounding roof skin from a breaking 4g

Can anyone help??

I have contacted Fiberworx who have said they can produce a 4g sunroof bung in GFRP (& possibly CF)- however they need a sunroof complete with the surrounding roof skin so they can produce a mould!

Their stuff looks good quality & could open up a source of decent sunroof plugs here in the UK- without having to pay through the nose for a kit from the states!

For reference their GFRP plugs for other Hondas are £95 with the CF plugs @ £200

Has anyone got a rotten 4g breaking with a sunroof who can chop the lot out before weighing the shell in?

Bit of a long shot perhaps, but could be a great opportunity!

If anyone can help then drop me a PM

Chris

He needs someone to hack up an old roof to give them the surrounding roof too! :?

Why do they need this exactly? Appreciate there is allowing for shrinkage but I don't see what that will gain them? Will a drawn outline of the hole help?

Fiberworx need the sunroof itself plus the surrounding skin so they can make an accurate mould in GFRP & be able to test fit/adjust it to perfect the fit (so I'm told)

Yes- lets hope so!

As/when/if Fiberworx have a mould from a roof/surround then other owners will have a viable alternative to a CF plug kit from the states.

I don't mind doing the running about delivering parts etc so if I get some decent charity with a roof/surround then it could be a go-er!!
