Low comp pistons

Post by FrontBackSide2Side » Tue Feb 26, 2013 6:49 pm

Im after some low compression pistons for my h22a. They must be unused so looking for someone whos abandoned a project or changed direction.

ideally Im after something like 87mm 9.5:1 and must be a decent piston such as wiseco or cp.

But let me know what you've got :-)

I was told last night from endless horizon, that if done right my block can produce 400bhp piece of body lemonade on a stock block.
Using wossner pistons but their like £550-600.
With a slight bore and good tune

:D

? :?

I would imagine the lude community would know about these if that was the case. Not much info on them out there. But they do say they have a skirt coating - could it be a similar system to the Mahles?

There's one man out there that would most likely know. - Rich? @PerformanceAutoworks

At just shy of $900 that's not bad if you ask me.. I might even consider them save the money from sleeving to put into something els ;)

I've read about a lot of cases where these Mahle pistons have failed which puts me off. The coating seems to wear, you never know if its been built wrong though that's the problem.
