Hey all

Looking for a passenger side folding mirror for a 5th gen in working order. Any colour, as i have a shell i can swap with

Alternatively, looking for a damaged mirror, as long as it clicks when the button is pressed, as it is the motor and not the mechanism that i (think) i need. I am also fairly confident i can repair it if it is clicking Condition of glass/shell not important.

Failing that, the same as above but for a 4G, as i can scrounge the motor off of one of those as my research tells me the motor fits.

Hey macky, The passengers mirror on project x doesn't fold automatically but does if you give it a nudge, not sure if it clicks but I can test it before the engine is pulled out at the weekend and let you know.

i think i have one of them somewhere in workshop, i will have look what side it is

Well, that tells me the motor is working. If i can't get hold of a working one i will give you a PM, ta

Anybody else got anything that may be of some use, before i PM JDM-BB4??

I have a passenger side 4g one kicking around.. worked fine before I broke the car.

Tried that one out tonight for you.
You can hear the motor turn when you press the button but nothing happens or it moves very slightly so I think the gears are broken inside.

It would be a shame to wreck a perfectly good folding mirror just to scrounge the motor
