Lude Generation

I'm getting a universal sports cat to save me doing the yearly MOT shenanigans. The guy who's going to weld it up said it would be easier and cheaper to cut and weld my old decat pipe onto the new sports cat, but I'd rather not destroy my old decat as it's got a silencer built in and I might want to swap back for trackdays etc.

So has anyone got one I can cut up? Needs to be 2.5 really which is a bit of a long shot I guess, but it's the flanges I'm after really.

@indigolemon has a solid fab jdm size decat - pretty sure its 2.5" with quite large flanges - youd have to check with him - mind u i dont know if hes actually planning to sell it.

or ive got a decat in my for sale thread - think its 55m id sure its a non standard size - quite long at 42cm so possibly perfect for chopping up as it has good thick flanges;)

106pete who makes up new decat pipes might be able to get some new flanges ready to weld straight up, so I'll see how that goes first.

I had a look at your decat vanzep, it would do but I'd need to grind the inner edge of the flanges about 5mm all the way round to make it 2.5 inch, which with hand tools would be a bit of a ballache.
