Make sure you messure them, I remember I have had an issue, when my drive shaft's rubber split, and all dust gos inside of there, do I try to repleaced shaft wiht thoe bearings but I left old caising - and that caising did not fit to new dhaft - and than i've realised they were diferent - probably slighly biger

And make sure you put them in the right way up, on my first attempt they went in upside down and when I drove off all the corners snapped off the bearings! The bearing edges are slightly angled - pay attention!

It is easy to do when you don't know the correct way. Mind you it is fairly obvious they are wrong when the driveshaft is unable to move up and down.

I thought exactly the same merlin but these things happen.
Ive done it wrong myself before but realised but I loaded the shaft up.
