Immobiliser appears to be doing the hateful thing, just wondering if anyone is breaking a 5th gen 2.2 manual and will be happy to sell all associated stuff to swap over (keys, ecu, barrels, Immobiliser ecu, etc)?
If not, anyone got an aftermarket ecu for sale so I can bypass it completely?
Thank you
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Normally the failure is in the barrel switch if its failing to come on or start, or in the aftermarket alarm systems. I don't think anyone has actually had a failure of the transponder/immobiliser system. If you have used the red key at all you may have 'removed' all your working keys and will need to follow to process with the red key to re-add your existing keys. Its in the workshop manual im pretty sure - do you have a copy?
What is the car doing/not doing? I always say the first thing to do on an old honda is remove the alarm system lol, most have been added poorly, and over time start playing up...

Sprry for the late reply, the barrel switch has been replaced, all ignition stuff has been replaced, starter replaced, lots replaced!!!
Car won't start as it's not getting fuel to it (fuel pump is fine).

If it was the immobiliser, you would have the flashing key icon on the dash.
I would check the fuel cut off switch (inertia cut off), press the top down. Then I'd check the relay and the associated fuses.
A more likely failure is the distributor, if the ECU doesn't sense the engine cranking via rotation via the hall affect sensor, I'm pretty sure the fuel pump will not run...
