just realised my lude hasnt got one - its the crescent shaped pressed steel plate that sit at the bottom of the gearbox where it meets up with the block - covering the flywheel - fixed in place by three small bolts.
its for a 4th gen vtec.
maybe someone has one spare lying around in a spare parts bins.
not looking to spend more than a few quid on this tho

I dont have a pic - sorry. Pretty sure all 4th gearboxes will have the same plate. Youd have to get under the car to remove this as it at the underside of the gearbox.
Hmmm just thinking im sure there is one that was taken off

I need it

Maybe missing that has let crap get in and making your slipping clutch worse, or the casue of it?

judging by how much cv grease and oil that was on the plate that came off your car id say its essential piece of kit for a road going car - maybe not as important for a track car
my clutch doesnt slip if driven properly and the power fed in

its been like that for a long time but yeah your right thats what i thinking/hoping

I've got one you can have for the cost of postage Nick.
Probably cheaper than trailing through here for it.
Dave.
