Diagnostic came up with error number 12 which is egr valve, so I'm looking for one.

That's how my EGR looked like. We gave it a good clean, installed it back and deleted error by taking out radio fuse. The engine management light doesn't come up any more. I guess I need to drive and test my Lude a bit more to be sure that this fault won't pop up again.

After couple of days of driving code 12 came back again. Cleaning didn't help, so is my EGR knackerred then?
By the way, there is no EGR in my mates Lude. The place where it should be is covered with a piece of steel. Engine works fine, no fault codes, good mpg. How does that work?

I'll leave my EGR in place then.PerformanceAutoworks wrote:In all honesty the gains you make by simply blanking it off on a stock ecu are negligable as the ECU is mapped with the EGR system in mind.
Can someone confirm if it fits H22a5?GJMHONDA2012 wrote:Ive gt an egr valve from a 95 import 2.2 si-vtec if its any use mate?
