^ Yup. Not knowing what you want to do with it but be aware.
a2, a5 and some H22a = 50mm
a7, a8 and some H22a = 55mm
a2, a5 and some H22a = 50mm
a7, a8 and some H22a = 55mm

Obviously 50mm mains cranks cannot be used in A7 or A8
I have two blocks in my garage h22a2 and h22a7. so it does not matter to meMerlin wrote:^ Yup. Not knowing what you want to do with it but be aware.

The plan is to rebuild h22a7, but if I will be able to get normal crankshaft, I will put PDE pistons in a h22a2 bottom end and use h22a7 complete head and intake, exhaust manifolds.Merlin wrote:If they are both unmodified you want to be building up the H22a7 rather than the a2Monceris wrote:I have two blocks in my garage h22a2 and h22a7. so it does not matter to me

Re: H22 crankshaft
I have an a7 that I need to strip down and the crankshaft will be available. Where are you based?
