Manual or auto it's just one or two jumpers difference. Very easy to convert, done it several times.
And if you open it and have a solder in your hand, solder in a socket and put in a Spoon Variant 2 or other chip
Google and you'll find what to do exactly.

If you need something in a hurry then Ive got a non chipped post facelift jdm manual 4th gen ecu - dont really want to sell it but happy to let you have it for cost of postage as long as you replace it at some point in the future.
