Hi all,

The day before I put my car in for an MOT the power steering fluid cooling pipe started leaking - anyone have a car they're breaking have one in good condition? It's part 27 on this diagram - cheers!

Alternatively - anyone know of a suitable aftermarket replacement?

Cheers!

My car has exactly the same problem and it was flagged as an advisory on the MOT last month. I saw on this forum someone had fabricated their own.

Yea that or find where the leak is and bypass it with some generic pipe. Mine on my 4th gen has had it but going to fit an oil cooler only because in tracking it. :D

I may have patt nr 16, it is the same as 27 but radiator is bit shorter- it is for Jdm 5th gen. Fitting point is the same as that one what you required.

Let me know if ypy interested

Hi guys,

Cheers for the responses - been busy last few days & apparently I need to change my notification preferences  I don't really have the time/effort/skill to knock something up myself & the only response I received from a couple of online breakers wanted £110 for a used one  so i've gone for a Mishimoto universal steering cooler (£60) which should do the job nicely & get me back on the road - should mount easily enough (not that i'm doing that - handy mechanic in the family), hardly use the car these days but it's a pain in the ass not having the option!

Cebul - cheers for the offer, I may well be back in touch if this thing doesn't fit!

Yo, I have one on my donor car, JDM 1992 - it's a bit rusty/dirty but it's not leaking.. so if you're still stuck you can have it for price of postage mate.
