Wheel or wheels

Post by lexi » Thu Oct 03, 2013 7:37 pm

Little ladys Lude has a crack in alloy . Had it welded and weld cracked plus another appeared.
Anyone got a suitable wheel or a set. 4x 114 I think. 17inch

Pic of mota and wheels. They are ACE type I think.

Thanks Ratty.

I think I will take wheel back and pay him to weld other crack and fix his previous one.
I think he did it with a Mig rather than get the Tig out. They are proper metal worker business with big CAD machines the lot. Mrs Lexi does not like being without Lude....

the roads are terrible, and alloys take a beating

I would cut your losses get a new set or alloy

Help again guys. I got that wheel welded again and it loses air about 5psi per day.
I have been offered a set of wheels that are 4x114.4. They are aftermarket wheels that were on Hyundai Coupe.

Will they fit my Prelude? I wouldn't like to travel for them if no good.

Hi!
I have some sets for sale, but dont think youll want to pay an extra 60gbp for shipping.
Also, if its welded, then maybe the tyre is not putted back properly or u have some new hole in youre tyre......best way is get back to ure service and ask them to check tyre. Or @ home take ure typre and put it in some bath with water and ull see wheres teh air going out!
;)
