last year i bought a 2 stroke 2 hp 720 watt generator at a car boot sale, but due to it being a 2 stroke it needs to run with oil and fuel mix, and as so it tends to blow off blue smoke from the exhaust. i was having a chat to one of my mates and he mentioned that he had a 4 stroke version that he has had for a few years and in this time has only used it 2 or three times. i have explained that i was looking for a 4 stroke one because the smoke could become anti-social and he said that because he didnt use his that often and i have a greater need for camping and club requirements, he has swapped mine for his.

so i now have a useable 4 stroke 700w generator. this would be enought to power an extension lead, connected to it we could use a light, a small social sound system or laptop etc.

exactly like this,

This.

A lot of clubs do charge for membership, and most charge the traders too. I personally don't mind putting a bit of cash into the kitty and I'm sure a lot of members don't either.
