Not disputing anything bud, just offering an alternative. I've been to Germany by road too, but to Munich which is nearly the other side so maybe that's why I'm thinking it's more of a trip than it is ;) I may go the Stena route myself but tie it in with a visit to friends in Utrecht anyway.

We go to Germany mroe than once a year, always via Dover. The tunnel is generally the most expensive. We usually take the Dunkirk route. Police in N France and Benelux are OK if you're sensible, except that Belgium's getting hotter on obviously modified cars. Keep your hooligan exhausts quiet and you should be OK.
Dunkirk and Hoek van Holland are both about 4 hours away from the Ring.

Ok guys i see there is a lot of interest around what we want to organise,

Of course there is a survey going on to see how many of are reday to go on such event next year and in 2014, however....

We are 100% sure, we will organise this in June 2013, we've been there this year with our preludes, I'd like you to take a look at a movie that we recorded there :

[vimeo]49269568[/vimeo]

We've been there already we know how to ogranise it as we organise every year in Poland 3 official prelude meets where at those most hot meets we've had even 100 preludes attending... so... just to tell you - this will be hapening for sure, in 7 mothns time for the first time ever, question is - how many of UK prelude owners are willing to come ? :)

Great video there Mike, makes me want to come even more!

As I've said, I think if any turn up for 2013, there will only be a couple as it's short notice for most. I think we definitely need to look at seriously attending in 2014 though :)

I'm potentially well up for this.....with the small matter of having a 2 month old by then
Then again, might convoy with a mate who has an S2k if I can get him in on it....
