Just talking about the grass, as that is all they have around the track. Didn't want any smart-arse comments about "staying off the dope"Thebusofwoe wrote:Green slippery stuff Is this the grass or some sort of track material
You can tape your headlights if you want but they don't require it at their trackdays so unlikely to enforce it here, although the weather is bad so you never know... I will be bringing some tape with me anyway and should be enough for a few others if anyone wants to use it.

What a cracking day out!
Really good turnout today, at least 20 cars, half 4th gen and half 5th, in good condition. Great to meet some more members and see some others turn up as well.
Track session was short but very sweet, so looking forward to some pics and footage hopefully. Shame about the wind-damage caused afterwards but at least nobody had any problems on track and was enjoyed by all.
Cakes were good too!

Yeah, the wind really picked up as soon as we got back from track and the LudeGeneration sign got blown into Rob's Mazda and then literlly 60 seconds later it caught Nitin's bonnet and smashed it into the windscreen. Luckily being carbon fibre it didn't damage the window but the bonnet is broken near the hinges. Hope you guys get it all sorted out soon.

Lol, no it closed alright, think he will need the hinge sections reinforced and re-lacquered though.
Did see several broken down cars, usually the big-power turbo ones. Mind you, I nearly ran out of petrol when I left after the track session. Was running on fumes for over 10 miles, with the car mis-firing left right and centre(s) before I eventually found a petrol station. Almost had to put in a call to the AA for a petrol refill!
Then I kerbed one of my new alloys going through a narrow village high-street.
I hope everyone else avoided any drama...
