You guys should have know from beginning. If I put my name down on anything.. chances are I won't turn up.

I know what a complete PITA it is trying to sort people for Japfest.
You need to pay up first to get the tickets and passes as said.
Theres no way I'd risk spending £300 plus on tickets for people to drop out and not pay up and me be left out of pocket.
Yes people want a stand, but won't commit or want to pay at the very last second.
But we're getting pressured to book early to aviod disapointment on it selling out. Plus the fact the later you book the worse the plot. So when we book late, when we get there people moan its in a shitty location. If people had paid sooner you'd be in a better position.
It's a real hassle organising a stand and Adam goes out of his way to try and organise stands for the club.so I can understand why he might have had a bit of a 'vent'
I sometimes think whether its worth the bother and to just let someone else organise it myself.
But to call him elitist? hmmm gayno's probably one of the least elitist people I know.
Thats my 2ps worth anyway

Well if this is the case we need to make the deadlines earlier so as we can secure a decent plot and get people on.
I want us to grow and I apreciate it's difficult especially with getting the numbers when a lot of our most active members own projects rather than road going cars.
At the moment there is no one confirmed with money sent for LG that is my reason for joining another stand. If it wasn't the ATR club for knowing a few members through friends on here and work then I wouldn't be going to japfest 2.
On another note this year is the 1st year I've attended a car show evet and I loved seeing all of us together at japfest we also had a very good turnout so it can be done. I've made a few purchases for work lately and have a few things too add to LG club usage such a genny for the car b cue and a 3x6 pop.up gazebo. So let's not get hung up on this 1 day

We need to set a HARD deadline. with no pushbacks
Have to be a little more tough. But get peoples names down and to pay before the set date. If you miss the deadline, tough.
People should have had plenty of time and notice to get stuff together.
