Well I thought about buying, and thAt is the ultimate plan. I didn't look on eBay as I wouldn't butch second hand lid so when I looked online for now I can't afford £400 quid for a decent lid plus the missus would need one so that's £800 lol
Just seen that one on eBay me hardy that's more like it however I'm skeptical how is it that only £30 lol when every helmet out there is at least 200. That I'd also for motorbikes actual helmets for car racing which are different apparently. Are even more expensive. I actually saw one last night for... £2600

Brilliant service, good reviews, and Snell compatible. I use an open face as visibility is not great in the lude with a full face.

Personally I'd be sceptical about the protection provided by a helmet costing only £30 and would also advise anybody to avoid 2nd hand helmets as you never know if the shell has been damaged in a previous accident or drop on the ground.
Having said that I tend to buy motorbike helmets in the £100-£200 price range and have crashed in a couple costing £100 with no ill effects and would stress that a motorbike helmet is generally suspect to far greater impacts than a car helmet will ever face.

See that's interesting as everything I've read so far indicates car racing helmets and much stronger an made for large impacts compared to bikes helmets which still offer protection for bangs. Are designed more for the long slides.
Whether that's true or not I don't know. And apart from the fireproof thing, in the real world I can't see there being me
Difference

The only reason I want to rent or borrow for now is I require 2 an can't afford 2 at the moment. My birthday is in September (30
