If you cant afford to take 4 days off with 6 months lead time you are heading down a dark road to deathbed regrets about work. Think strongly what is important to you while you still have the time to use it.
My overheads for the 1st 5 years of business are too high. After 2 years its dropped.
But after the final 3 years i will be £1500 better off per month. Got 2 more years left and loans are paid off.

This was always going to be the case for me, plus winter is poor so i work twice as hard in the summer to make up for it.

I really want to go this yesr too. But I just spunked a load of money on a trip to Vegas with the misses in May so I'm not sure I'll be able to save enough in time.

If you take a paying passenger then that means you will have to let them drive on track drokk that

why not? you are not going to be taking someone you dont know. just make sure you have a passenger who repects your stuff. its not like you go on track to be 'as fast as I can' anyway.

my passenger paid for 6 laps and drove them at about 70% the speed I was. he had a great time.

Sadly, it's not happening this year. Rather coincidently, I messaged the organisers on FB during the week. Instead, they're concentrating on JapFest in Poland during July. I looked it up on the map and it's about 860 miles so much further than I want to go.

I'm hoping to go somewhere in Europe regardless this year. Possibly Le Mans, Magny-Cours, Spa-Francorchamps or maybe a nice place on the east coast of France.
