After the disapointing dyno day at spamspeed, i starting looking into other places near me to dyno my car.

I found that there is a well respected place not far from honiton in devon. they said they would be happy to take a group booking. im hoping i can talk us into a good deal if we get enough cars, so i was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a day of it?

I would love to come along to this, but it's too far really :(

Make sure it isn't a Dyno Dynamics dynamometer Bludge, they don't like vtec torque curves!

Btw, for those interested... I've been trying to do some research into the dyno that we ran on at spam (I'm sad and curious). I knew Sun was a good brand (i.e. good quality stuff) in the automotive equipment world, I didn't know it was a subsidiary of snap-on, which it appears it may be... Sun dyno's aren't that common and are quite old, but they seem to be well respected from what I can find. I found some.older versions have different settings for cars under 170bhp to cars between 170-240bhp, but from what I can see, that was on an older version than the one spam has.
It seems there may be some relationship between Maha (ala Powerstation) and Sun dyno's, but haven't got to the bottom of that yet...

PS: all the above was based on research on the internet, so it must be true...
