Had a day to get the car ready for the Japanese Performance Show, Stoneleigh near Coventry.
A few photos:

On the way South to a friends driveway nearer the venue, Ray driving.

A late night drive for me.

Then Saturday and 'Karate Kid' wax and on and off.

The venue opens up on Saturday to let the Show & Shine cars clean up and then park in the main hall:

It was a good show, seemed bigger than last year with more visitors and cars, (once at the venue it was a 40 min crawl to the display areas).

It's held at a Stoneleigh Agricultural Centre, near Coventry. The beauty of this show is the club stands are in indoor, essentially barns with cars under light. It bills itself as the only indoor Jap car show in the UK. Not the mass frenzy of Japfest, but a pretty relaxed day. The standard of cars, whilst not always my taste, was very high.

I worried that the Lude would look out of place, by that I mean an unadorned OEM Lude.

I was surprised, and I think the Lude was a handsome stock presence alongside some serious stuff as well as the comedy spoilers.

Genuinely good day and I rather liked the Honda Odyssey I was beside.
Worth thinking about for LudeGen in 2019??

I've got so many photos it's ridiculous, I'll bombard you at a later date, hehe

Looking great Norks, good job.

Parked next a guy called Andrew with the white Odyssey i see. He's done a good job on his Odybus.

Yeah, really nice chap, gave him a lift to his hotel. His Odyssey is superb and won something at a Mimms event.

And thanks Shiny, I know you know your stuff when it comes to making a car shine.
