This is a thread for Euro meet attendees to discuss plans.

Please only post if you are attending the Euro meet, otherwise this is going to get messy.

I have just had a look at Euro tunnel for the weekend 29-30 June.

If we leave around 9am on Friday 28th, and return around 11am Monday 1st July the cost is £91.

Obivously this will mean pitching up down near Folkestone on the Thrusday night, and similar near Calais on the Sunday night. I have looked at it this way so we aren't all driving from home to Nurburgring without a real break, and we get to spend as much time as possible at the ring with our European brothers.

Any thoughts? I will need to look to see if they can do a group booking to ensure we all get on the same train, as you can only book single cars via the website.

do you mean 11pm on monday or hang around sunday night?

No, 11am Monday, so we'd need to find somewhere near Calais to pitch the tents for the night. Then all we have to do Monday morning is get up and drive 15 mins to the train.

This is just my thinking. Obviously the other way is to get a late train on Sunday night and pitch up in the UK when we get back.

or for sunday? might be nice to get the full tour in?

its only an hour and a half away from the ring and it is on the same road. it would almost be rude not to!

If I'm being realistic, I won't make this, funds just can't allow for it at short notice.

Will look to next year though :(

About £70 if you take the Dover-Dunkirk boats.
We're likely to be in Germany already, so will try to arrange to meet the convoy on its way to the Ring.
