Mate, I really don't think there is any true offence intended. Everybody's sense of humour is a bit different. Just brush it off and treat it as banter.

I know mate, rise above it and all that. Oh well im looking forward to meeting new faces and seeing how crap my car is compared to others to see what I've got improve.

Yep, always good to get ideas for improvements. And it's not a case of rising above it..just about not taking it that seriously in the first place. You know what I mean?

Kris, seriously, there's no "rising above" required!

As you'll find out when you meet lxstuart at Japshow, he has a somewhat "dry" sense of humour. I mean, just check out his posts in NSFW area!! It's what he does, we all love him for it, and one day you will too!

It's better if your car isn't up to scratch this time..so next time, when you've done some work, it will seem better by comparison.

It's plenty enough!

Loads of people on here have 'works in progress'. It's not about bringing a showcar to every meet, but about the community.

You'll get it up together for future meets anyway, and most likely gather some inspiration from this one.

Hell, mine is a rolling project. Has a few rust patches that need sorting out, and has squeaky brakes atm cos I can't afford replacement calipers till the end of the month. It doesn't matter though, cos at the next meet it will be a little bit better than last time everyone saw it.
